CG Scholarship, or Chhattisgarh Scholarship, is a monetary support program launched by the Chhattisgarh state Government and Chhattisgarh Social Welfare Department to help Chhattisgarh students from unprivileged lower middle-class backgrounds and minorities complete their secondary and higher secondary education.
There are multiple categories of scholarships offered for different academic groups of students, including Pre-matric scholarships, post-matric scholarships, CM Gyan Protsahan Yojna, Disabled Scholarship scheme, Rajya Chhatra Vritti Scheme, and Kanya Saksharta Protsahan yojna for Girls and boys of Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC).

Chhattisgarh Scholarship 2025-26
The Chhattisgarh government and social welfare department, in collaboration with various state and central government agencies, provides a range of scholarships to support students from economically weaker backgrounds. These scholarships aim to promote education among students from SC, ST, OBCs, minorities and girls. The scholarships in Chhattisgarh can be broadly classified into pre-matric, post-matric, and merit-based schemes.
- शैक्षणिक वर्ष 2025-26 नवीनीकरण छात्रवृत्ति के लिए छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य में अध्ययनरत एवं छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य के बाहर अध्ययनरत अनुसूचित जाति, अनुसूचित जनजाति और अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग के छात्रों के लिए ऑनलाइन छात्रवृत्ति आवेदन 20-05-2025 से 30-11-2025 तक आमंत्रित किए जाएंगे।
- शैक्षणिक वर्ष 2025-26 नवीन छात्रवृत्ति के लिए छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य में अध्ययनरत एवं छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य के बाहर अध्ययनरत अनुसूचित जाति, अनुसूचित जनजाति और अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग के छात्रों के लिए ऑनलाइन छात्रवृत्ति आवेदन 01-08-2025 से 30-11-2025 तक आमंत्रित किए जाएंगे।
- छात्रवृत्ति हेतु निम्नानुसार पात्रता निर्धारित है:-
अनुसूचित जाति एवं अनुसूचित जनजाति विद्यार्थियों के पालक की आय-सीमा रु. 2.50 लाख प्रतिवर्ष, अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग हेतु आय-सीमा रु. 1.00 लाख प्रतिवर्ष, सक्षम अधिकारी द्वारा जारी स्थाई जाति प्रमाण पत्र, छ.ग. का मूल निवास प्रमाण पत्र, विद्यार्थी के अध्ययनरत् पाठ्यक्रम के विगत वर्ष का परीक्षा परिणाम । - PFMS के माध्यम से आधार सीडेड बैंक खाते में पोस्ट मैट्रिक छात्रवृत्ति का भुगतान किया जा रहा है। अतः सभी विद्यार्थी अपने सक्रिय एवं आधार सीडेड बैंक खाते की प्रविष्टि ऑनलाइन आवेदन करते समय सुनिश्चित करें ।
- शैक्षणिक वर्ष 2025-26 में अनुसूचित जाति, अनुसूचित जनजाति एवं अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग के विद्यार्थियों को NSP Portal से OTR (One Time Registration) प्राप्त करना आवश्यक है। इस हेतु राज्य छात्रवृत्ति पोर्टल में प्रदाय निर्देशों का अवलोकन किया जा सकता है।
- शैक्षणिक वर्ष 2025-26 में नवीन संस्था के संस्था प्रमुख (HoI) एवं संस्था के छात्रवृत्ति प्रभारी (INO) का biometric-authentication किया जाना अनिवार्य है।

Types of Scholarships offered by the Chhattisgarh government;
- Post-matric: Family income should be less than 2.5 Lakhs, and the applicant must be enrolled in any post-matric institution.
- Pre-matric: For class 9 & 10 students whose family should be less than ₹200,000 annually.
- CM Gyan Protsahan Yojna: Amount of ₹15,000 given to meritorious students for excellent performance in class 10th and pl12th.
- Chattisgarh Disabled Scholarship: Amount ranging from ₹150-₹190 for students with 40% body disability and additional incentives for Higher studies.
- Rajya Chhatravritti Scheme: For Female students of classes 3 to 8 who belong to SC/ST/OBC or have a minority background.
- Kanya Saksharta Protsahan Yojna: To promote education among less privileged girls of Chhattisgarh. Amount of ₹15,000 for exemplary performance in class 10th and 12th.

CG Scholarship Last date 2024-25 for Post-matric and pre-matric scholarships is 17 February 2025. This is the extended date, which was kept at 30 October 2024 after commencement on 9 September 2024. CG Post Matric Scholarship 2025
The Chhattisgarh government’s Post-Matric Scholarship program provides financial assistance to students from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) pursuing education beyond the 10th grade. To qualify, applicants must be permanent residents of Chhattisgarh, belong to SC, ST, or OBC categories, and have a family income not exceeding ₹2.5 lakh per annum for SC/ST students and ₹1 lakh per annum for OBC students. Additionally, students should have secured at least 50% marks in their previous examination.
