Nmms scholarship or National Merit cum means scholarship is an initiative to empower young minds of the country by supporting them in their education.   4. The scholarship amount is directly credited to their bank accounts.
  5. Disbursement is done through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) via the Public Financial Management System (PFMS).

Applicants can upload essential documents, including income and caste certificates, and their academic records directly on the portal and track everything under a single page. 

Nmms Scholarship Renewal 

The NMMS Scholarship renewal process has been streamlined and made mandatory by the government, with all procedures centralized on a single platform: www.scholarships.gov.in. Students who have completed their course are not eligible for renewal.

It is important to note that students should avoid submitting new scholarship applications, as duplicate entries will be rejected, and every student has to maintain the same academic performance every year to remain eligible for the scholarship. To renew an NMMS Scholarship, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the student login page on the NMMS portal.
  2. Click on “Register.”
  3. Select your domicile state.
  4. Choose the “Renewal” option.

The NMMS Scholarship Renewal process ensures continuity of financial aid for eligible students. Applicants must log in to scholarships.gov.in, select their state, and provide previously registered details. Avoid duplicate applications to prevent rejection. Eligible students need to provide their bank account details and their previously registered date of birth (as entered during the initial application). These details must match the information provided during the original registration process to ensure successful renewal.

Nmms Scholarship Kerala

Nmms Scholarship for Kerala is a helping hand for the bright students of Kerala who are willing to pursue higher secondary education or higher studies after the 12th standard, ultimately helping an educationally excelling state shine more. The Scholarship for Kerala is a special program started by the Government of India to help students from every state (including Kerala) who are good at their studies but need financial support.

The NMMS Scholarship is for students studying in government or private (but recognizedrecognized) Schools in Kerala. To apply, students must be in Class 8 when applying and must have scored at least 55% marks in Class 7 (50% for SC/ST students), and the family income should be less than ₹3.5 lakh per year. Apart from this, every student must pass a mental ability test (problem-solving skills) and a Scholastic aptitude test. The selected ones will receive ₹12,000 annually.

NMMS Scholarship for Class 8 

The NMMS Scholarship for Class 8 is a special program started by the Government of India to help Class 8 students who are good at studies but need financial support, thereby reducing the dropout rates.

This scholarship gives ₹12,000 every year to selected students from Class 9 to Class 12 so they can continue their education without worrying about school expenses. To apply, students must study in any recognized school and have scored at least 55% in Class 7 (50% for SC/ST). Their family income must be less than ₹3.5 lakh per year. 

Students can apply online through the National Scholarship Portal (www.scholarships.gov.in) by registering, filling out the form, taking MAT and SAT aptitude tests to access the application form, and uploading documents like mark sheets and income proofs. The NMMS scholarship is an excellent opportunity for hard-working students who need support to achieve their dreams.
